Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year at Lansdowne School. As your children’s educators this year, we welcome the opportunity to provide a solid and meaningful educational experience for each of them. Strong academic outcomes are our key focus, but we also emphasize and value growth and development of well-rounded citizens. We enjoy the support of our parents and community members and believe that students, parents and staff working together create our strongest educational team.
Lansdowne School is composed of a highly diverse ethnic and cultural blend. With over 40 world countries represented here, we celebrate and value individual differences. “Come to Lansdowne…where the world comes to you”, would be a very fitting description of who we are as a school community.
The well-balanced curriculum allows children to recognize their own areas of strength and appreciate the strength of others. Our large numbers of English Language Learners are supported not only in their classrooms, but through a pull-out program and with the help of community volunteers.
